Health Issues

The impact on the medical and health aspects can be quite enormous. With extraterrestrial technology we may be able to cure all the diseases that we have on earth. Yet on the other hand a virus of extraterrestrial origin can wipe out all life on the planet.

If all the diseases are cured then life expectancy will rise enormously and we may live to be hundreds of years old. With the population explosion we could over run earth and deplete its resources in years leaving a barren dead planet. A balance must be struck where our lives will be enhanced while preserving the earth.

Another aspect to look at is that health and medicine brings in billions of dollars per month to big businesses. I believe they will and are working against such contact and would want the technology so that there businesses will continue to flourish. personally I would prefer that all technology derived from extraterrestrial sources be free and freely distributed as needed to those who are in need without prejudice. (this is actually written into the message)

So don't expect big business to jump on board and want such to end their death grip on the worlds population.
